Our "Backpacker" is a cute and cozy 96 sq.ft. of tiny house nirvana. Situated on a small tidal slough, it provides a beautiful natural setting for reflection and appreciation of that which is good in life. For those looking for luxury, the Backpacker is not for you (you may encounter bugs and it's really hot in summer). However, the Backpacker has a pretty cool vibe, and is extremely convenient to historic Charleston and Funky Folly Beach. The Backpacker is for backpackers and nature lovers.

Welcome to Charleston! You'll enjoy a totally separate wing of our house with a private entrance, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig. We're in a wonderful, safe neighborhood, 5 min from the beach by car. A 15 min walk gets you to restaurants, grocery stores and a mall. Sunset cruises, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and bike rentals are a 15 min drive away. A 20 min drive gets you to historic downtown Charleston. The well-equipped kitchen and grill on the porch encourages intimate home cooking. We lived in this space before we moved into the main house, so we can attest to it being comfortable, and well maintained.
