In 1834, it was a chicken coop nestled between the house and barn. Today, it's a cozy cabin just a stone's throw away from the villa and venue. From the private, rural setting to the rustic decor, you'll feel as though you've traveled back to simpler times. It's unique, refreshing and oh-so tranquil. Great coffee shops within a few blocks. It is an easy walk to all the best places in Dubuque. We are 1.0 mile to the Diamond Jo Casino. 2.0 miles to the Q Casino. 5 blocks to Five Flags Event Center. The Lumber Yard Cottage is a cozy hidden retreat tucked away from the road. Within walking distance of all Mineral Point has to offer. Great restaurants on all sides of this property and wonderful shops are just up the road. The Cheese Trail and railroad museum are across the street. Enjoy the back porch with the wraparound stone wall or the lovely front porch and watch the world slowly drift by. There is a queen size bed, jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace, ac unit, full kitchenette, and wi-fi.

The cottage is located on the edge of our woodland area. We invite you to explore the property and enjoy the animals. The west end of our land over looks town and is a great place to watch the sunset and the goats graze.
