A Highland cottage built in the 1720's, newly refurbished in the spirit of Scottish country living. The south facing cabin is set in the Spey Valley, Scottish Highlands near Aviemore with a pine forest stretching into Glenfeshie, Cairngorms mountains and the RSPB Insh Marshes. Squirrels, badgers, deer and pinemarten can be watched from the comfort of the patio window! While enjoying the peace of this small village there are food shops & station 5 miles away and food, fuel, gift, sports shops 10 miles away. The west coast, Inverness, Braemar, Edinburgh are all possible as day excursions.

Rowan Cottage is to be found snuggled away in the forest, yet just 5 miles from Aviemore, in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. This cozy cottage for two is peaceful and calming; a perfect place to unwind and relax at this unique and tranquil getaway. Each day brings another memorable view or sighting of the abundant wildlife in and around the cottage grounds. Yet, if you want an activity based week there is a vast amount of organised activities and attractions just on your doorstep.

A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

Nestled just off the high street in a quiet private garden. Walking distance to beautiful forests and biking trails. The River Spey is close too for a wild swim. Ideal spot for adventurers or rest! The Bothy has a wood burner to create a special romantic atmosphere or perhaps a solo restful retreat. The single day bed pulls out to create a double bed. There is a table to have meals at or work away from home. Lots of local delicious food & coffee spots to explore nearby.

Beautiful Edwardian flat in the Cairngorms.

The flat is located within the main house with shared access but otherwise fully independent with a separate staircase. The house is Edwardian, built in 1913, and retains its original features. West Terrace is a cul-de-sac leading towards the popular Creag Bheag summit. The flat is light and airy with a good wi-fi connection. Please note there is no TV.
