Heathcote wine country is only 30 minutes away and Bendigo, a short 10 minute drive offers a multitude of activities including shopping, nightlife and rich art and history culture.

The Nissen is a spacious, light filled two bedroom holiday house overlooking the historic town of Castlemaine, aptly named for its resemblance to a World War II Nissen Hut. Wonderfully private and secluded considering its convenient central location, and featuring all modern appliances. Perfect for all occasions, a quirky yet comfortable gem in the heart of Castlemaine.

An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
