The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

Merricks Stable - The Stables

Enjoy a relaxed escape in this unique, beautifully renovated stable conversion located in Merricks North on the Mornington Peninsula. Set on 10 acres of picturesque farmland, The Stables is the ideal rural retreat to enjoy all season. Whether it's sitting around the amazing fire pit, enjoying a glass of local wine and gazing at the stars, or lounging by the cosy wood fire in the cooler months with a hot chocolate and good book in hand. Somers Dunescape with Fireplace and Pool Table

Retro Beach house across the road and over the sand dunes to the beach. Recently updated with new furniture, aircon and heating throughout. A roaring open fire place for you to enjoy during winter and electric blankets on every bed except top bunks! A great place to stay for graduating HMAS families. Maximum of 8 adults please (and up to 4 children) Please note, a bond of $500 will be collected prior to check-in. Your bond will be returned subject to adhering to house rules.
