Cottage in the Prosecco hills

The cottage is made up of an independent unit set in the Prosecco DOCG vineyards which, together with the chestnut woods, cover the surrounding hills. From here, lulled by the sound of the wind and the chirping of birds, guests can view the village of Rolle, with its bells that have traditionally cadenced the work in the fields, the surrounding hills and Mount Cesen. The small, old house was once the residence and workshop of artisans who made the famous local "olle", namely earthenware pots.

Vicinissimi: Venezia (56 km), Treviso (31), Bassano del Grappa (30), Cortina d'Ampezzo (105) e, le Dolomiti piu' vicine, ad un'ora di macchina. La posizione è centrale e offre nel raggio di pochi metri un alimentari, due panifici, due ristoranti pizzeria e un ufficio postale. La struttura si trova nel percorso Giro delle Fontane, passeggiata nella natura che permette di scoprire molti angoli suggestivi di questa località. È inoltre una ottima struttura anche per chi ama le escursioni in bicicletta o in moto.

Nice apartment with air conditioning, washing machine and some outside space. 100 metres from a bus stop and a shop selling fresh fruit and vegetables and everyday groceries. If you are interested in local food and wines, we can give you some advice on nearby shops and farms. Larger supermarket open 7/7 less than 10 mins away (on foot). The town's castle (on the Prosecco Hills) is a 20 mins walk away. We live close by, we speak Italian but out sons help us welcome foreign guests.

The rooms were built inside the recently restored Roncade Castle Tower. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, air conditioning, heating and Wi-Fi. Breakfast is included. The Castle is located in a quiet country village 15 minutes from Treviso and 30 minutes from Venice, 30 km from the beaches and served by public transport. Inside, there's a winery that sells locally produced wines.
