This is an charming north beach town with nostalgic atmosphere. The public beach is very popular, particularly college students and families. It's a couple of minutes to the Nevada state line. The local golf course gets favorable reviews. Good choices for informal dining.

Great place to grab an ice cream and walk on the beach in the summertime. Can get crowded though.

Great beach town in the mountains. Huge sandy beaches with lots of space to spread out, great swimming beaches, great town!
