My kids' favorite playground in NYC. Adults can also play or picnic on Umpire Rock right adjacent to the playground. Working drinking fountains and bathrooms are right there. Bring snacks with you.

Huge playground area at the South end of Central Park with natural climbing rocks and vast play areas, slides and sandboxes

Take a fun climb to the top of this giant rock jutting out of Central Park! There's also a wonderful natural playground that kids of all ages love. It's a great gateway to Central Park explorations.
