I started going here when I was testing recipes for a cookbook and discovered it was the only place I could get many of the unusual spices I needed. It looks like a local deli, but the shelves are well-stocked with international ingredients. The focus is Indian, but they carry ingredients from around the world, and a good amount of it is organic. Their international beer selection is also massive.

I'm obsessed with this place. Even if you don't like to cook--I do--this is a great place to see. It feels like it's from another world, filled with bulk spices + grains.

For the serious cook, this is a place which must be seen. Every spice about which you ever dreamed. Teas of every description, and a helpful staff which represent the best of Indian hospitality.

Specialty groceries, spices, herbs, teas nuts, grains all from India. Particularly wonderful for anyone following Ayurvedic personal care. They also have 400 varieties of imported beer.
