A magnificent canopy road leads to the Civil War era fort for a great biking excursion or nature walk. History museum and Union Solder re-enacters. A fishing pier for anglers, secluded beaches.

Great place to take kids for some history at the fort (which has re-enactors), a hike, camping, or fishing/walking on the public pier. Great place to bike around and have a picnic lunch.

Post Revolutionary War era fort occupied by Union Army during American Civil War. Great beaches, bike riding and fishing, too. Located close to downtown Fernandina.

Amelia Island is the home of the modern shrimping industry, and the Burbanks have been making nets for decades. Look for huge brick warehouse - the Burbanks are inside, making nets. They sell hammocks
