Quiet, lovely place to visit year round. Located in Falmouth, just minutes away from Portland. Mackworth Island is a scenic 1.5 mile walk around the perimeter of the island, with picturesque views of Casco Bay and its many islands. Great for the whole family or solo. Parking is limited.

A great place for an easy, casual hike. Cars can enter the island by road with an entrance fee; but parking is limited. There is a footpath around the perimeter of the island with views of Falmouth, Portland, and other islands surrounding the bay.
