Great beach for swimming, snorkeling, bodyboarding, surfing, fishing and jumping off the rock. During the winter there is large surf suitable for brave and experienced surfers.

One of the North Shore most famous beaches. World-renowned for its massive swells during the winter. When the surf isnt massive it's a perfect place to take the family and enjoy blue clear water. Parking can be REALLY difficult. I suggest you get to the beach early as to not have to worry about it. If you can't find parking at the beach access your next best bet is Waimea Valley (across the street from the beach access) may offer parking for beach access.

Not suitable for swimming in the winter. When the water is calm, it is a great place for a dip and snorkeling. Try the 20 foot rock jump. Note that parking can be a challenge. Look for street parking.
