I am an experienced sourdough baker, but I was excited to learn more about milling different grains and using different flours. Not only did Adrian do a great job of explaining this, but she also gave a fascinating background of the history of grains and breads. She was so warm and welcoming, and did a great job of teaching the process in a friendly, hands-on experience. The ride to visit the bakeries was super fun, and we picked up some delicious goodies along the way. I definitely would recommend this class! Adrian was so helpful and a just wealth of knowledge.

Adrian's sourdough bread baking class was very special. She invited us into her home and was such a gracious host from the very beginning, offering us coffee before we could break into the topic of the morning. She clearly is very passionate, and very knowledgable about sourdough and flour, and shared this with us in a fun, hands on tutorial. While the dough fermented she brought us on a mini baked-goods tour of Portland, and we left loaded with treats, our loaf of bread, and a sour dough starter to carry on the tradition!

I had so much fun taking this class, and I have never baked sourdough before and would recommend it to anyone who's curious about bread, or would love to revisit the basics with a master.

I’m excited to start making bread with starter she shared! So knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this great experience!
