As someone who has been living in New Orleans for a period of time but definitely was not a local, Michelle was able to breathe air into the garden district and really provide history and perspective. She was able to build connections by the end of the tour and all of us left happy! As someone who has been on several food tours around the country what makes this experience unique is how guests share plates and learn about the importance of every item. And best of all, you actually leave full!!

This tour was a blast. Michelle was very knowledgable about New Orleans history and current events and we learned a lot. She took us to a couple of lesser known bars which was great.

Michelle is fun and full of fabulous historical stories about New Orleans, the Garden District, and the locations we visited. I both learned and laughed a lot, and the food choices were perfect!

Michelle was extremely knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans and much of the architecture we saw on the tour. She pointed out several notable locations. The food locations had a very local vibe, and her suggestions were excellent. The roast beef po boy at Parasols is not to be overlooked. When she tells you to order that, listen to her! Michelle is also very personable, very receptive to questions and easy to talk to. The number of people she stopped to say hi to along the way definitely affirms that she is a true local and knows exactly how to give visitors a fantastic local experience.
