We started at 6pm with tea and cakes at Fuad's traditional house where we also met his wife. Then we walked, just the 7 of us, through Kg Bahru, in cooler weather, towards Pintas Saloma, stopping to say hello to different neighbours and listening to their stories. The day turned into night, and the city that's always in the close background, changed hues. Loved the contrast of the old and the new. Beautiful.
