If you’re thinking about visiting Craig’s place: DO IT. Craig was not only welcoming but felt like a family member, reminding me of how special it is to share someone’s home. His warmth and care towards me and my puppy showed me the beauty of a simpler way of life and how much passion and hard work can transform a space into something extraordinary. The photos do not do this place justice. He has created a tucked away natural sanctuary, with the beautiful river surrounding in every direction. While we preferred being on the property, we were able to visit all of the nearby beaches such as Duck, Kitty Hawk, etc. Absolutely anything you can think of was taken care of. We left feeling grateful, refreshed, and inspired. He is a wonderful person who is a depiction of what Airbnb is capable of, fostering human connection and shared experiences. This stay was beyond what I imagined. We will definitely be coming back to Craig’s in the near future!

Baby, my dog, and I had an amazing stay at The Bungalow. With Craig's instructions, it was super easy to find and exactly what I imagined. In fact, Craig goes above and beyond in what he provides. I packed things I didn't need to like a dry box for kayaking and several beach towels.

It was very relaxing and I even found that I could see the Milky Way over the water the first night I was there. Anything I needed, Craig was quick to respond. His dog Banks is also very sweet. I have recommended this stay to others and absolutely plan to return again.

Our stay at Craig's unique bungalow was interesting, fun, and very relaxing. The bungalow itself is like a mini museum decorated with artifacts and memorabilia from around the world. Craig is an excellent host! Not only is he very friendly and fun to talk to, he also provides all the amenities guests need from bug repellant to soap. We appreciated his economical use of space in the bungalow which provided all the essentials. The kayaks were an extra special amenity for us providing hours of fun on the water to observe wildlife. From the bungalow deck overlooking the Albermarle sound we watched dolphins play while we had our morning coffee and closed our days with gorgeous sunsets. My husband and I felt like we were on an adventure safari worlds away surrounded by trees , water, and wildlife. I highly recommend Craig's place for those seeking a unique place to relax and refresh. We hope to return soon.

The Bungalow is a very cool place to stay ,I enjoyed just looking around the inside it seemed every time I looked around I found something interesting to look at that I missed ! The view is incredible we even saw an eagle while talking to Craig the Host and on our last morning an eagle was gliding in the wind 8 feet from the window overlooking the sound , I was so amazed I forgot to take a picture it was like the outer banks sent us an amazing goodbye gift. Craig the Host is a really nice person, he even offered to allow us to stay an extra day on him because the Weather was bad and he was worried we would not have the vacation we deserved - what can you say such a great Host ! We didn’t take him up on the offer due to issues with our livestock that cut our plans short but we would definitely stay with Craig again- his location is about 15 min from kitty hawk close to the wright brothers bridge so convenient to go see the sights but peaceful in the evening when you want to relax A+
