We greatly enjoyed Pamela's history of Berkeley walking tour. Pamela is very knowledgable and describes history accurately and with integrity, not sugar coating it. I learned so much from Pamela and definitely look forward to reading her book as well. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time on the Berkeley History Walk with our host Pam! She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history of the area. This experience was a birthday gift for our son, who’s very interested in history, and Pam took special care to make it meaningful and memorable for him.

Pamela shared so many interesting historical insights about the City of Berkeley, the UC Berkeley campus and how both entities connect to the broader Bay Area and California as a whole. We started in the downtown Berkeley area, walked through campus, then down a stretch of Telegraph Avenue to the former site of People’s Park. It’s a great time to take this tour as there as this city and the Cal campus are undergoing lots of change and development.
