Irene has literally written the book on Paris desserts and this tour highlights it! We learned the history of the various chocolatiers & bakeries & has a great mix of choices & there were some pre- selected desserts so we can try something very new to us! Irene is wonderful to work with! Along the walk she points out interesting parts of the neighborhood & shared history of the buildings. She did an amazing job accommodating the gluten free people in our group. Come hungry / highly recommend as the best possible way to start your trip in Paris. We did this 5 yrs ago & it’s the only thing my kids asked to do again on this visit!

I was lucky enough to take this experience as an employee of Airbnb with teammates on a work trip. Irène was a great host! She brought us to different sweet spots around St. Germain, and I can confidently say I wouldn't have been able to find these spots on my own. From chocolate to pastries to ice cream, I was able to live my Parisian dream of sweets. Irène (literally) wrote a book on the topic and was clearly an expert! One tip: make sure you come hungry for this experience because you'll be eating every step of the way.

Irene took us on a great exploration of shops and sights throughout the St. Germain neighborhood. As part of an Airbnb employee testing program, I was able to experience her tour at no cost. She curated a variety of delicious sweets for our group to try, and shared interesting tidbits about the area. My daughter and I especially enjoyed the chocolates, although every single thing we had was delicious!
