Looks like the pictures. Clean, aesthetically pleasing and very comfy beds ( I slept very well).

Fruit salad was nice and fresh and ginger tea every day was lovely .

Like the majority of local places in Bali they put MSG in the food, so the first day wasn't good for me until after I realised, but after I told them not to use it in the food, it was better.

Staff are friendly and kind but there was lack of response to communication and excuses made. It was however resolved better after I spoke to the owner about it.

I think this is just teething problems and as long as communication, response and assistance is worked on it will be 5 stars because you need their assistance for transport, food and basics because the location isn't near any amenities by foot.

Was a great experience , me and my partner throughly enjoyed this. Water was provided at the beginning and at the end with hot drinks and food at the top with the stunning sun rise views. It was truly magical. Highly recommend experiencing this if you are in Kintamani. Wear grippy shoes as the sand on the incline can be slippery. Staff were friendly and polite and knowledgable about the volcano itself.

Ketut, his family, and all the staff were very lovely and helpful. He was very apologetic about the number of flies around (because of the local agriculture) and made us feel very comfortable. He also organised us a tour guide up mt. batur with his team as well as a car to the hot springs afterwards. The on-site restaurant was very convenient with tasty food (although unfortunately there was no pizza available). I would definitely recommend to stay here if you enjoy a friendly environment, clean and modern rooms and accessibility to mt. batur.
