Very close to amazing music venues on Frenchmen St and grocer store. Landlord was responsive. A few short blocks to the French Quarter. Easy on street parking right in front of apartment. I hope to return for another 3 months!

If you’re looking for that “old” New Orleans feel in close proximity to the French Quarter, then this place is perfect. We enjoyed the sound of the horse carriages going by and how easy it was to walk everywhere. That being said, the apartment could use some updating. The floors are very uneven, so anyone with balance or mobility issues would struggle getting into the apartment and walking around the apartment. The A/C worked well, but the furniture is pretty worn. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but would probably choose a different place in the future.

We stayed here (two people) for three months. We really liked the area and the guide provided was really helpful. It was super easy to check in and the place was cleaned and just as described. The place was lacking in a few basics (can opener but we left ours, cutlery, etc.). The actual owner of the house lets a company out of town and they were a bit unhelpful. The owner did let herself in one day while we were at work due to the stove being on. That wasn’t a problem but she didn’t even let us know that she was going to do that which was a bit frustrating. However, this was such a good stay and was just what we needed for this summer. I HIGHLY recommend it!
