Capt. Gene is hands-down the best Airbnb host I've ever had! From the moment I booked, he went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The house was wonderful in every aspect, exactly as described, and a wonderful welcoming place to stay on Peaks Island. Captain Gene was incredibly responsive, warm, and welcoming, always checking in to make sure I had an unforgettable trip to Maine. He shared great local tips and the history or the area, and made me feel right at home during my stay. I can't recommend staying here enough--book with Capt. Gene for an exceptional experience! We went to Peak’s Island for a wedding and Captain Gene’s house was the perfect spot for our group. The house is right in town about a 5 minute walk from the Ferry. The grocery store is across the street and there are also a cafe and a restaurant within about 50 feet. It was super convenient, clean, and comfortable, plus Captain Gene himself is a wonderful host. We highly recommend it!
